Our History

Haskins Inc. was founded by Harlan Haskins, Richard and Eileen Haskins in 1978. Having many years of experience in the underground utility and excavation industry, Harlan and Richard (loved and always remembered as Dick) saw a business opportunity at Bonita Springs, FL and decided to make a difference in that community. Slowly, but steadily Haskins Inc. expanded its services to other areas of Lee County and Collier County.

Harlan Haskins eventually acquired full ownership of Haskins Inc., which he later decided to share with his very talented and forever beloved spouse and business partner Kathleen Haskins. Harlan and Kat took under their wing the new generation, aka: "the kids" of "The Haskins Inc. Family". They first hired Ben Elwell, who they coached to be the Operations Manager, then CEO and today, Vice-President of Haskins Inc. Later, they employed and coached Ryan MacPhee and Mabel Lago into the Estimator/ Treasurer & Corporate Secretary (respectively).
